With an optical system that features an outer diameter of only 6 mm, the IBS® Tissue Removal Device is inserted into the minimally dilated cervix with the help of a tapered obturator. There is no thermal damage to tissue thanks to the purely mechanical removal of tissue. Resected tissue is immediately suctioned and collected in a tissue trap. In addition to the removal of placental remnants, the IBS® Tissue Removal Device can be used to remove polyps and myomas and to perform biopsies. Here you can find the required setup:
