KARL STORZ Expands OR Landscape in Mexico

Tuttlingen – 20 state-of-the-art operating theaters have already been installed in Mexico thanks to first-class medical technology and the broad OR1™ integration solutions from KARL STORZ.
And this is just the beginning – over the next three years, the Mexican hospital chain Star Médica will implement many more operating theaters in cooperation with the German MedTech company, significantly expanding private healthcare provision in the country.
Star Médica brings a new standard to the Mexican private healthcare sector
Star Médica is dedicated to providing private medical services with a focus on innovation and efficiency, setting new standards in healthcare. Since its foundation in 2000, it has been known for combining state-of-the-art technology with a patient-centered approach. Star Médica currently operates 15 hospitals in different cities in Mexico and continues to expand to meet the growing demand for high-quality medical services.
Integrated solutions by KARL STORZ already in operation
As part of an ambitious initiative, Star Médica plans to establish numerous operating theaters over the next three years in more than twelve cities, including Mexico City Morelia, Querétaro, Aguascalientes, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua and Mérida. They will be equipped by KARL STORZ, headquartered in Germany, with technical support provided by their team in Mexico. 20 OR1™ operating theaters have already been successfully installed, including four in Morelia, five in Querétaro, two in Aguascalientes, two in Chihuahua, and two in Ciudad Juárez. Additionally, five Scenara® software solutions have been installed in some of these hospitals.
