TERNAMIAN EndoTIP - Trocar system for optically controllable access

The TERNAMIAN EndoTIP system replaces conventional trocars and, due to its special design, offers a range of advantages for both surgeon and patient. Injuries to organs caused by uncontrolled penetration of the abdominal wall are virtually impossible. In conjunction with a HOPKINS® telescope, the surgeon has an excellent, enlarged image of the point of penetration and is, therefore, able to carefully monitor the penetration under optical control. The various tissue layers can be identified precisely. The special design of the TERNAMIAN EndoTIP system ensures a secure hold in the abdominal wall and prevents gas loss at the point of penetration.
